Graham White of Learning to be Little by Kathryn R. Blake @KRBwrites #BDSM, #Erotic Romance, #Spanking,

RW:    Graham, I’ve heard you’ve taken a new girl under your wing. Can you tell us a little about her?

GW:    I don’t like talking about my girls behind their backs, but Kelly already talked to you, so I don’t believe I’ll be divulging any confidences. I discovered Kelly Franklin attempting to sell her body as she walked the streets of New York. I watched her for a while and decided she was in dire need of a protector. So, I made her an offer I was convinced she wouldn’t refuse.

RW:    Where do you live?

GW:    I live in a highrise apartment building on the east side of the city.

RW:    If money was no object, where would you most like to live?

GW:    Money isn’t an object for me, so I’m living exactly where I want to live.

RW:    The east side of New York City is an expensive place to live. Even if money isn’t an issue, I suspect your life isn’t worry free. So, how do you overcome any problems that arise?

GW:    My problems revolve around the relationships I have in my life and what I expect from the young women I bring home with me. I have a strong desire to guide and protect adult little girls. I do my best to be honest about the temporariness of our association upfront, but even brutal truthfulness doesn’t truly address the problem.

RW:    Do you consider Kelly as part of your problem, or will she be the solution?

GW:    Kelly isn’t a problem by herself, but I expect she will create a scene when it’s time for her to strike out on her own. She’s a lovely young woman who needs a strong man in her life. A younger man. Don’t misunderstand me. I’m not looking for a solution since the problems that develop between me and my “daughters” are part and parcel of what I seek in a relationship.

RW:   Your preference for transitory relationships with the women in your life must create severe conflicts at times. How do you cope?

GW:    The conflicts inherent in breaking off a relationship are intense by their very nature, though some of the girls are happier to leave than others. I love all my girls, and I only bring home those whom I think will work out. That’s not to say that we don’t have skirmishes from time to time. Should they choose to challenge my authority, and at some point they all usually do, I won’t hesitate to put a snarky female over my knee for a long, hard spanking.

RW:    Oh. I see. So, if you came with a warning label, what would it say?

GW:    Warning: comes with an expiration date.

RW:    Do you view your life and relationships as a secret guilty pleasure?

GW:    Being a daddy to an adult little girl isn’t a relationship most people understand or accept. So, I keep that part of my life private by necessity. I receive more than pleasure from taking care of a Little. In fact, being their daddy is my reason for being.

That said, If I could change my preferences, I’d undoubtedly marry Kelly even though I’m not sure either of us would be happy in a long-term relationship. So, for her happiness and mine, I think it’s best if we part when the time is right. However, it’s far from right at this point in time.

Even so, I doubt I will ever marry because I desire an adult daughter, not a partner or a wife.

RW:    Those are all the questions I have for you. Thank you for speaking with me.

GW:    Thank you for inviting me.

Kathryn R. Blake

Bio:

Learning to be Little: Kelly’s Story is Kathryn R. Blake’s seventh novel with Blushing Books, first age-play story, and second BDSM romance. Although Kathryn is relatively new to the spanking romance market, she is not new to stories where the hero spanks the heroine. In fact, most of her novels have some sort of spanking in them. However, even in Kathryn’s novels where the hero firmly believes in using spanking as a deterrent, he has no desire to cause the heroine injury and takes no delight in hurting the woman of his heart.

To date, all of her heroes are dominant, alpha males who are extremely protective of the women they love. However, part of that protectiveness includes the need for a certain amount of control. They do not suffer defiance or disobedience lightly. Even so, these men aren’t infallible, and they do make mistakes, but love and respect will always triumph in the end.

Since Kathryn enjoyed writing romances at a young age, she joined RWA in the early 1980s. In addition to writing, Kathryn enjoys traveling, reading, attending the theatre, and is a passionate lover of animals, so much so that in 2015 a stray cat adopted her. The stray now sleeps in Kathryn’s bed. She has also recently taken up the expensive hobby of making and selling jewelry.

Her personal website, www.kathrynrblake.com, is filled with photos and links about her many interests. She loves to hear from her readers, so she has an e-mail link at the bottom of every page. Her naughty blog http://KRBNaughtyThoughts.blogspot.com contains snippets and excerpts from all her books as well as those from other authors in the genre.

LEARNING TO BE LITTLE

The Plot:

After a bleak childhood in foster care, Kelly’s growing mistrust has her running away again and again. Homeless and penniless, with no relatives to harbor her and a penchant for escaping her caretakers, Kelly is finally handed over to one of the few parish orphanages remaining in existence until she turns eighteen, when she is released.

Possessing only a little money, few skills, and even fewer resources, Kelly’s attempts at job hunting end up with her prowling the streets in desperation—until a wealthy stranger makes her a proposition she is too cold and hungry to refuse. Though it isn’t until he takes her home that she realizes just what she’s gotten herself into.

Publisher’s Note: This book contains elements of power exchange, and dynamics of age-play as well as discipline. If any of these offend you, please do not purchase.

An Excerpt:

Kelly placed her fingers on his palm and let him lead her down the hall to her new bedroom.

In direct contrast to the living area, and hallway, which were primarily decorated in chrome, glass, and leather, this room had all the frills and lace of a young miss’s pink palace. Beginning to get the impression she would indeed be kept as a little girl, Kelly looked about her with unease.

All the furniture in the room had small bows and flowers attached in some way. The white dresser and night table were so shiny, she wondered if they had been coated with vinyl. The Cinderella bed, which dominated the room, was a little girl’s fantasy come true. He’d encased a twin-sized bed in a pumpkin-shaped, golden-metal carriage frame complete with a fully decorated crown on top which had a light, sheer canopy draping from it. The mattress was raised off the floor by ornately finished steel scrollwork wheels connected to a curved rococo metal head and footboard, so it stood level with Kelly’s waist. She’d have to take a running leap to climb into it.

In addition to the ostentatious princess bed, there was an adult-sized carousel-style rocking horse set in the corner along with a super-sized padded rocking chair and a variety of stuffed animals, dolls, and children’s picture books perched on inset shelves. The room also featured two comfy-looking pink velvet upholstered armchairs. All in all, the chamber was fit for a young royal with the exception of two other pieces that caused the tiny hairs at the back of Kelly’s neck to rise. He had added an adult-sized high chair and an oversized baby-changing station. What the…

“What are those?” she asked, pointing at the unusual equipment as though they’d been marked with the sign of the devil and stood dripping in blood.

“Ah, those. Well, there may come a time when I choose to treat you as I would an infant.”

Kelly frowned. “You’ll make me wear a diaper and sit in a high chair?”

“Yes. I will, among other things. Now, I suggest we—”

“Why?”

“You should never interrupt Daddy when he’s talking, pumpkin. You’ll get spanked if you do it again. First thing we need—”

“But, how can I—” Kelly wasn’t permitted another word before he wrapped his arm about her waist and bent her over. Whack.
